We provide consultative services at most hospitals within the
Cincinnati area. We also provide outpatient consultation at
four offices that are conveniently located throughout the city.

Infusion Therapy

IDCC provides full service infusion therapy through our
In-Office pharmacy which is staffed by licensed pharmacists
and highly skilled infusion nurses.

We can provide In-Office infusion or infusible medications
for home-based therapy.

HIV Treatment

IDCC Physicians provide primary and consultative care for
patients with all stages of HIV infection. Our physicians have
experience in all facets of HIV and AIDS disease management.

Travel Medicine

IDCC offers a variety of Travel Medicine services. If you are
planning a trip outside of the United States we can provide
in-depth itinerary consulting to assess your risk of exposure.
Various specialized immunizations are available to protect the
traveler in conjunction with professional advice regarding
medical precautions and medical care abroad. Our physicians
specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of tropical diseases.
Several of our physicians have completed the Walter Reed
Army Hospital Tropical Medical courses.

Infection Control Services

IDCC provides consulting for any healthcare or business
entity that requires infection control services or assistance.

IDCC physicians can assist in disease outbreak investigation
and participate in JCAHO or OSHA regulatory reviews on a
contractual or as-needed basis.

We can also assist microbiology labs to develop cost effective
strategies for antimicrobial testing issues.


Employee Health Services

IDCC physicians are available to assist healthcare institutions
or businesses evaluate risks for exposure to infectious agents
among their employee populations.

We can assist in defining policies and procedures for infectious
disease exposure in the workplace.

Medical Education

IDCC provides consulting for any healthcare or business
entity that requires infection control services or assistance.

IDCC physicians provide teaching opportunities for medical
students, residents, and allied health personnel through our
affiliation with Greater Cincinnati hospitals.

Dr. Blatt is a member of the teaching faculty at Good
Samaritan Hospital.

Dr. Friedstrom is currently the Associate Program Director for
the Good Samaritan Hospital Internal Medicine Residency
Program.

Drs. Hamilton and Lamarre are on the teaching staff at
Christ Hospital Internal Medicine Residency Program.

Dr. Goodman is a member of the faculty at Jewish Hospital.

Antibiotic Advisory Services

IDCC physicians are available on a contractual basis to
provide daily pharmacy rounds on patients receiving antimicrobial therapy.

Our physicians employ CDC recommended strategies for
improving the apropriateness and cost effectiveness of
antibiotic therapy within hospitals.

Research

Our physicians direct and participate in clinical research
programs through the medical residency programs in
hospitals with which we are affiliated.

Our physicians are widely published in a number of medical
journals. IDCC plans to explore clinical pharmaceutical trials
in the near future.
